Meet the Team at Lakeside Dental

Ami has been the Office Manager in the practice for 10 years now. Her experience spans 26 years in the dental field; you name the dental specialty she has experience in that area too. She was raised in the Dallas area and loves it here! Despite the harsh heat of summer, she looks forward to many years to come here. She and her husband have been friends since their childhood and have three amazing children! Ami enjoys spending time with her family, home and craft projects, antiques and enjoys various activities with her church. She feels it is a true joy to serve all of our patients and looks forward to being a part of our practice for many years to come. She is always available to answer any questions you may have regarding any facet of your care in our office.

Bandi has worked with Dr. Mizar since 1999 as a registered Dental Assistant and he brags how she is the Best Assistant he has ever worked with. She is originally from Beaumont, TX, but now calls the DFW metroplex her home. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking and relaxing on the beach.

Jennifer Cabrera will probably be the first person you speak to when you call our office, and the first person you see when you walk in the front door. She is originally from the Rose City, Tyler, TX, where she lived for thirty nine years. In 2011, she was blessed to marry her first love after being apart for twenty-five years, which is what brought her to Plano, and she couldn't be happier! Between the two of them they have three beautiful children. Jennifer has worked in the health industry for about twenty one years, and eight of those being in the dental field. She is new to Lakeside Dental as an employee, but was originally a very happy patient of this office. She enjoys working in an industry where she is able to meet lots of people and develop relationships with them, and looks forward to all the patients she will get to meet in this practice.

Jennifer, our registered dental hygienist, earned her BS from Texas A&M & then studied Dental Hygiene at Collin College. She has served on the board Greater Collin County Dental Hygiene Society for many years and really enjoys giving back to the community and furthering the education of other hygienists through that organization. She also works as a clinical instructor at the Dental Hygiene School at Collin College. Jennifer is also Dr. Mizar's daughter and has enjoyed working with her father as a hygienist since 2001, caring for the patients in this office over the years. During her free time, she enjoys being involved in her church, traveling, snow skiing, wakeboarding, spending time with friends & family - especially her husband, Matt, and son, Nicholas, and their 2 dogs!
