Paul D. Mizar, D.D.S.

Dr. Mizar moved to Plano in 1991 after graduating from the University of Texas Health Science in San Antonio. Dr. Mizar owned and operated Addison Dental for five years prior to moving his practice to Plano and changing the name to LakeSide Dental. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, and Dallas County Dental Society.

Dr. Mizar is married to Paula Mizar, a Real Estate agent with Keller Williams Realty in Plano. His son Aaron is a graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in Political Science. His daughter Jennifer, also a graduate of Texas A&M, is practicing at LakeSide Dental as a Dental Hygienist. His hobbies include snow skiing, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and motorcycling.

Sheri - Dental Hygienist

For over twenty years, Sheri has practiced hygiene with the philosophy that all patients should feel comfortable in the dental office.  She will not lecture patients or scold them about what they haven't done or should do, but she will educate patients about the causes of dental disease and offer some solid advise on how to cope with it.  She treats patients with empathy, taking into consideration the individual needs of each patient, and gives them the most thorough possible treatment available.  Sheri also believes that everyone should be happy with their smile.   She will inform  patients on the latest technological advances that improves the appearance of their teeth.  Sheri is married with two teenage daughters.  She teaches fourth grade Sunday School and is involved in community service.

Bandi - Registered Dental Assistant

Bandi has worked for Dr. Mizar for 8 years as a dental assistant.  She will always greet you with a smile and make your dental visit as enjoyable as possible.  Don't hesitate to ask Bandi any questions you may have about your treatment.  She strives in providing the patients with the best care and knowledge available.  Bandi is one of the most capable chairside assistants that has ever worked for Dr. Mizar.

Jennifer - Dental Hygienist

Jennifer, Dr. Mizar's daughter, is one of our dental hygienists.  Her main goals are to provide the best preventive care possible and educate patients on improving and maintaining their oral health.  She is from Plano and has worked in dentistry since 1993, first as an assistant and then as a hygienist beginning in 2001.  Recently, she has also become an associate faculty member at CCCC Dental Hygiene School as a first year clinical instructor.  She has a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and a degree in Dental Hygiene from Collin County Community College.  She is also actively involved in the Greater Collin County Dental Hygiene Society and mentors second year dental hygiene students.
